Job Summary ****
As a Research Associate specializing in Project Monitoring and Implementation, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day process of survey design, training of survey personnel, and ensuring the successful execution of impact evaluation for different programs with institutional partner, Myna Mahila Foundation. Reporting directly to the Principal Investigator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards, meeting timelines, and fostering effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
This project is part of a Stanford University-led academic research project. The projects aim to study women’s agency, LLM-bots, women’s health, and employment, specially focusing on women from urban slum communities. The project involves field surveys, research implementation, and partnership management with NGO, academic, and government collaborators.
What Will You Do?
- Survey Design and Implementation: Lead the design of survey tools, seeking approval from the Principal Investigator, and conduct comprehensive training sessions for survey personnel on data collection methods and tools.
- Field Management: Oversee supervisors, interviewers, and data collectors during data collection, ensuring adherence to survey standards and on-ground implementation strategies. Actively engage in on-field team activities to bridge gaps between strategy and execution.
- Logistics and Timeline Management: Ensure timely implementation of survey logistics and management support, monitoring progress against set timelines, and taking corrective actions as needed
- Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including Centre Supervisors and Community Leaders, and identify new areas for project implementation to enhance effectiveness.
- Communication and Reporting: Communicate daily/weekly project requirements with the Principal Investigator, monitor data collection for alignment with standards, and actively participate in resolving bottlenecks during survey implementation.
- Interventions and Project Support: Implement various interventions for project monitoring in consultation with the Programme Manager and Principal Investigator, while fostering team engagement through timely support and fun activities.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create manuals/playbooks for Myna Research to guide data collection activities. Conduct daily debriefs to understand and report on project progress.
